About me

My real name is Mike Szymaniak and I live in Poznan, Poland. I study IT at Poznan University of Technology and I already have BSc title in this field. I work as a low level C/C++ programmer.

I am fully aware that I commit many mistakes writing English, but my native language is Polish. I promise to do my best.

  1. Hi, my name is Alberto
    I’m Italian
    I need help
    to unpack a program
    can you help me?

  2. Send me this program and I’ll see what can I do

  3. i want to load linux or android on my blackberry 8830. do you have any idea how to do it

  4. @ajay: first you need to hack bootloader to be able to boot your own firmware. Then build up your system and upload it. Good luck 🙂

  5. what about secured boot loader on blackberry. it checks for the signature of the os or the code to be loaded how i m going to put the signature.

  6. That’s the hard part. Nobody knows, it’s RIM’s secret. You need to know their private key used to sign it or find a way to hack it. AFAIK nobody has done it yet.

  7. I read your article on the IP control on Samsung TVs. I am not a programmer so I don’t have that type of knowledge. I was wondering what it might take to build some type of “caller id board” that could get the caller id and name and put it on a Samsung TV. I think that would be really cool. I haven’t seen that done. Maybe it might not even require a board. I run Asterisk and perhaps it could be sent from Asterisk directly to a Samsung some how. Thanks for your time.

  8. Hello Mike! I found that your VSMTool cannot be opened and used, my computer’s OS is WinXP and Win7, why and how can I run the program? Thank you!

  9. and, if you have new verizon of VSMTool, can you send me via Email? I just need it to change some old model’s boot screen. Thank you and wish you every success in the future.

  10. Hi Mike,

I really like all of your projects, especially the Blackberry ones.

You are a very smart man and I wish you the best of luck in all of your future work.

One last thing, you might be Polish but you seem to write English very good.

    Take care…
